Managing Blogrolls in Quick Blogcast
A blogroll is a widget that lists hyperlinks you can then add to, edit, or delete from your Quick Blogcast® sidebar. Blogrolls display a list of hyperlinks to other blogs or websites. On the Sidebar Widgets page, you can add one or more blogrolls to your blog, give them unique names, and set their hyperlinks to open in a new window.
On the Sidebar Widgets page, you can also add hyperlinks to a blogroll, determine the order in which hyperlinks display, and edit or delete them. For more information about blogroll hyperlinks, see Managing Blogroll Hyperlinks with Quick Blogcast.
To Add a Blogroll
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widgets.
- From the Available Widgets list, drag Blogroll to the Active Widgets list.
- In the Name field, enter a name for your blogroll.
- To have hyperlinks open in a new window, select Open links in new window.
- Click Save.
- Click Save (in the bottom-right of the Sidebar Widgets page).
To Edit a Blogroll
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widgets.
- Click
(Edit Widget) for the blogroll you want to edit. - To edit the blogroll name, in the Name field, enter a new name.
- To set the blogroll's hyperlinks to open in a new window when clicked, select Open links in new window.
- Click Save.
- Click Save (in the bottom-right of the Sidebar Widgets page).
To Delete a Blogroll
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widget.
- Click
(Remove Widget) for the blogroll you want to delete. - Click Save.
- Click Save (in the bottom-right of the Sidebar Widgets page).
