Managing Background Images in Website Builder

With Website Builder, you can replace the background color of your Web page with a background image you choose.

Once you add an image, you can modify its position and alignment on your Web page. If you no longer want to display a background image, you can delete it.

When you change the color of your template, the background image is removed. You must add the background image you displayed again.

To Add Background Images

1. Log in to your Website Builder account.
2. From the Design menu, click Launch Page Designer. The page designer displays.
3. From the Page tab, click Background Image.
4. The Advanced Design Options window displays. Go to the Background Image tab.
5. From the Changes affect drop-down menu, select whether your changes affect the entire Website or only the Web page you selected.
6. Click Change Image. The Image Library displays.
7. Select the image you want, and then click OK. The Advanced Design Options window displays.
8. Click Apply, and then click OK. The new image displays under Image, and in your background.

To Delete Background Images

1. Log in to your Website Builder account.
2. From the Design menu, click Launch Page Designer. The page designer displays.
3. From the Page tab, click Background Image. The Advanced Design Options window displays.
4. From the Background Image tab, click Delete Image.
5. Click Apply.
6. Click OK. The image no longer displays in your background.

To Change the Position of Background Images

1. Log in to your Website Builder account.
2. From the Design menu, click Launch Page Designer. The page designer displays.
3. From the Page tab, click Background Image.
4. The Advanced Design Options window displays. Go to the Background Image tab.
5. From Position, select a position for your image, click Apply, and then click OK. The image displays in the new position on your Web page.

To Change the Alignment of Background Images

1. Log in to your Website Builder account.
2. From the Design menu, click Launch Page Designer. The page designer displays.
3. From the Page tab, click Background Image. The Advanced Design Options window displays.
4. From the Background Image tab, go to Image align, and then select the alignment you want for your image.
5. Click Apply, and then click OK. The new image alignment displays on your Web page.
