Managing Custom Text and HTML in Your Sidebar in Quick Blogcast
You can add, edit, or delete custom text or HTML code in your Quick Blogcast® sidebar. You can also select whether to display or hide the custom text or HTML code. For example, you can add HTML code for tracking visitors but hide it from your visitors.
NOTE: This feature is not available with the free version of Quick Blogcast. You can upgrade to the paid version of Quick Blogcast use the product's full features. For information about upgrading your plan, see Upgrading Your Quick Blogcast Account.
To Manage Custom Text or HTML in Your Sidebar
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widgets.
- From the Available Widgets list, drag Custom Text to the Active Widgets list.
- Click
(Edit Widget).
- In the Name field, enter a name for the widget.
- To display the widget's custom text or HTML on your blog so your visitors can see it, select Show on blog.
- In the Custom text or HTML field, enter the text or HTML code you want to add to the blog.
- Click Save.
- Click Save (in the bottom-right of the Sidebar Widgets page).
To Edit Custom Text and HTML on Your Sidebar
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widgets.
- In the Active Widgets list, click
(Edit Widget) for widget you want to edit.
- Edit the details for the text or HTML, and then click Save.
- Click Save (in the bottom-right of the Sidebar Widgets page).
To Remove a Custom Text or HTML Widget
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widgets.
- In the Active Widgets list, click
(Remove Widget) for the widget you want to delete.
- Click Save.
- Click Save (in the bottom-right of the Sidebar Widgets page).
