Managing Notes in Your Contact Manager
Here's the lowdown:You can manage your Notes page view to track the progress you've made with your contacts. View the contacts you've called, emailed, or scheduled a meeting with, and more.
Managing the Notes Page View
You can view your notes by category by using the Show menu. Notes display automatically in these categories:
- All Notes — Displays all the notes added to your contact records.
- General — Displays all tasks that have a scheduled due date of today.
- Sent
Email — Displays all contacts you've contacted by email. - Made Call — Displays all contacts you've called.
- Meeting — Lets you view contacts you have scheduled meetings with.
- Sent Mail — Displays all contacts you have contacted by snail mail.
- Received Called — Displays contacts who contacted you by phone.
- Sent Mail — Displays all contacts you have contacted by postal service.
- Received Call — Displays contacts who have contacted you by phone.
- Order — Displays contacts who have placed an order.
- Email Opt-in — Displays contacts who have opted in for receiving your email updates.
- Email Opt-out — Displays contacts who have opted out of receiving your email updates.
In addition to the displayed categories, you can further narrow your tasks display by selecting one of the options from the Show list in the right-hand navigation panel.
