Securing Your Website While Your Premium SSL Is Vetted
Here's the Lowdown: Premium SSLs come with a free temporary Standard SSL, allowing you to quickly secure your Website until the Premium SSL is issued.
Premium SSLs can take days to be vetted and issued, but a Standard SSL can be issued in minutes. You can secure your Website with the Standard SSL while you wait for the Premium SSL.
Once your Premium SSL is vetted and issued, install it on your server and overwrite the Standard SSL.
NOTE: The FREE Standard SSL will be removed when the Premium SSL certificate is installed. If your Premium SSL Certificate has not been issued at the end of the initial certificate term, the Standard SSL will automatically renew at the then-current rate. If you cancel your Secure Certificate application, we will cancel your FREE Standard SSL certificate.
